What is Madden 25 Ultimate Team?

Madden Ultimate Team is a mode in Madden 25 where you can create your dream team. It’s like Fantasy Football, but you get to control how your team performs throughout the game by playing as them. With MUT 25, you can play games against other players’ teams to earn MUT Coins, buy or sell players through the Auction House, and build your Ultimate Team.

How To Build Your MUT 25 Team?

Unlock Your Starter Lineup

When you start your MUT 25 team, you’ll have to complete a challenge to unlock your starter team. This team is the base for your Ultimate Team. As you play games and complete challenges, you’ll get Coins and Packs which you can use to build your dream team. As you progress, use the Lineup menu to swap out old players for new ones and improve your Overall Rating (OVR) and Chemistry scores. We suggest you try the Generate Best Lineup option in your Lineup menu.

Utilize Team Chemistry

Chemistry plays an important role in how your team performs. As you build your team, consider if the players you’re putting together have good Chemistry. If they do, your team can gain stat boosts. You can use players from multiple teams in your MUT 25, but stat boosts only apply to players that have the same Team Chemistry. To check your Chemistry score, open the Lineup menu. You’ll find your active Team Chemistry totals in the Chemistry section. All of these contribute to your team’s OVR, along with how highly rated your players are. The higher the OVR, the better your Ultimate Team.

How To Improve Your MUT 25 Team?

Your starting team is good, but you want your Ultimate Team to be great. Here’s how to improve your team.

Complete challenges to get better players and items and to collect MUT 25 Coins.
Make progress in Field Pass. Learn more about the types of Field Passes here.
Playing games is the best way to win rewards like Coins and Packs.
Buy Packs to get better players and items. You can buy Packs with Coins that you earn in MUT, or buy them through the Store. You can also use Points to buy Packs.
Already know what you need to improve your team? Buy Players and items directly using the Auction House menu.

How To Compete With Your MUT 25 Team?

Once you’re happy with your team, you can start playing against friends and other players. MUT 25 has many different game types to choose from. Try them all to get the most out of your team.

Challenges: A great option if you’re looking for more MUT Coins and Packs or want to learn new things. Challenges give you objectives geared towards different parts of the game and reward you when you complete them.
Head 2 Head: Play against other MUT teams created by players just like you.
Head 2 Head Seasons: Take your MUT team through an entire season.
Solo Battles: Pit your team against an AI opponent. Playing this mode will help you progress in the Competitive Field Pass.
Play a friend: Have a friend who’s also playing MUT? See how your teams stack up in this mode.
MUT Champions: Play 25 games in a week and collect rewards based on your results. You’ll need a Champs Entry Token to enter, which you can get by progressing in the Competitive Field Pass.
All-Madden Seasons: Once you’ve gained some experience, you can play against other experienced players for more of a challenge.
Squad Seasons: Play 2v2 or 3v3 matches with friends or other players online.
