For the reintroduction of the well-liked Year 1 Strike, which contains a feature in the Witch Queen expansion pack, a player of Destiny 2 has a fascinating notion. While the current Vanguard playlist contains a number of Battlefield events and strikes, many cherished strikes are no longer accessible in Destiny 2. In the game, players can gather enough Destiny 2 Silver.

Each Destiny 2 expansion pack introduces a range of content to the popular real-time service shooter, including strikes, raids, and story campaigns. This trend continued with the launch of the Beyond Light expansion in 2020, but the release of the expansion marked the deletion of content from Destiny 2's first few years. Various Strikes, Gambit maps, destinations, and more were to be placed in the Destiny Content Vault as part of Bungie's new plans at the time, but the company retooled those efforts after receiving backlash from players. Destiny 2's The Witch Queen and Lightfall expansions will roll out in subsequent years, adding new content to replace older content that used to appear in the playlist. The much-loved Savathun's Song Strike has yet to return to Destiny 2, but one player offered up an idea for how the strike could be reintroduced into the game.

Destiny 2 player Bestow5000 brought up an interesting idea about the return of Savathun's Song Strike, as its main destination, Titan, will return to the game in Season of the Abyss. Players have suggested that Savathun's Song Strike returns with various changes, such as the addition of the Witch Queen's Hive Guardians and new dialogue reflecting the main story of Season of the Deep. Other players felt that the remastered Strike could be a valuable asset to Season of the Abyss while adding variety to the Vanguard playlist.

With the return of Savathun's Song Strike, Bestow5000 expects Lucent Brood to play an important role on the surface of Titan. Additionally, Destiny 2 players suggested that Bungie should add the new Legend Lost Sectors to Titan, since that destination didn't receive a substantial update before it was removed in 2020.

The reintroduction of Savathun Song's Strike could be beneficial for Destiny 2, as many players feel that the Vanguard playlist lacks variety. Some players have been dissatisfied with the amount of Battlefield events in the current playlist, and new and returning Strikes may make up for some of the community's frustration.

The Season of the Deep begins on May 23, so Destiny 2 players have about two weeks to complete all remaining Defiance Season activities. The upcoming season will continue the main story that ended the season of Resistance, with a new round of events and weekly quests to complete. For more game guides, please visit wmbtc.com.
